Racing Against Time to Make Our Bergen Gig

This time, we were heading to Bergen to perform with Sa_G at the Feelings festival. But getting there turned out to be a little more dramatic than planned.
Because of an airline strike, we suddenly had to completely change our plans. Our solution? Jump in a car and drive all the way from Oslo to Bergen. And just like that, the trip turned into a serious race against time. 🚗💨
We arrived only 20 minutes before showtime. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten ready that fast in my life. Makeup? Five minutes. 😂 And as if we didn’t have enough to deal with, the giant lollipops we use as props had broken during the drive, so those had to be fixed too.
The fact that we actually made it onto the stage on time was kind of unbelievable. But somehow, we did!
And Bergen made it all worth it. The audience was actually the best crowd we’d had so far. It wasn’t the biggest, but it was definitely the loudest! And I’m not surprised. I love people from Bergen because they’re so outgoing, cheerful and never afraid to bring the energy. Bergen delivered, as always. ❤️
We even got SUNSHINE – which isn’t exactly something you take for granted in Bergen. ☀️
After all the chaos, we finally got to enjoy ourselves. We loved the insanely cute – and very pink – backstage area, and of course we had to try the hot dogs from Bergen’s famous 3-Kroneren. Honestly, some of the best hot dogs I’ve had in a long time!
Earlier, we also stopped by TempoTempo for something to eat. A luxurious favorite in the city with really good food – although the flavors weren’t completely my taste, unfortunately.
From an airline strike and driving across the country to five-minute makeup, broken lollipops and arriving 20 minutes before showtime… somehow, we made it.
Bergen, you were worth the drive. 💕
