Wow! What an experience! Marrakech was amazing! Over all expectations! Here are my views of the beautiful city and my tips!
My tips:
To hang out, get a drink and a shisha: Rooftop Garden - It is a little expensive for many tourists. But so beautiful, great service and a nice view. Even possible to get a dip in the pool.
Restaurants:
Azar - Maybe the best food we got, some ok entertainment (felt a little tourist-pleasing, but hey, it's ok!) and great shisha captains that we found more entertaining!
Dar Sukkar - The food was only ok, but the show was great. Even tho, as a proffesional dancer, some of the entertainers was a little low quality in their technique, some of them made us fall in love! Get a table near the main stage, they do have live shows on the stage at the ned of the night to party and dance to.
Nobu - a fancy place, but oh my god the best food I tasted from the asian kitchen. Nice sushi but all the other dishes was so good!
Opso - It's a cute, low-key place for a nice shisha. Very good mocktails (no coctails)
Iranian Restaurant - this is a place for the locals who enjoy iranian food. I was not surprised to meet some iraqis at this quiet place. It is near the Opera Plaza Hotel.
Clubbing:
Marrakech is a nice place for europeans who wants to see the middle east culture but still get a touch of european/american music. So clubbing here is very nice and music often geat! But, no need to go to the clubs before 01.00 in the night (haha, as norwegians we where there arround 23.30 and though we where late). Open until morning hours so no need to rush to the club! Take your time!
Theatro - Maybe the most known place. It is super cool, and near a very nice casino (with a very cosy shisha bar outside). But its very crouded as the local is not that big.
Secret room - My favorite. Some days they have ladies night, where entrance and (some) drinks are for free for all women coming. Shisha and dancing? Yes please!
Markeds:
Instead of going to the regular markeds, go the the old town (Old medina and the jewish area). Be aware that many people sell cheap china produced stuff! Bargening is a must, they will almost get angy if you don't, hehe! You can get 50-70% lower price than their original price.
Things to do:
-GetYourGuide have a lot of fun and really cheap things to do! My favorite was driving in the desert and getting entertainment or food in the desert.
Taxi:
Easy to get! But remember they will try to get a higher price. I usually paid about 5-7eur for 10 min drive. Many drivers will give their whatsapp number for you to contact at any time.
